Becky Alex

Becky Alex is a freshman at NYU Tisch studying Drama. Becky has been singing and dancing from a young age, and her love for performance has stayed constant as she has gotten older. Becky has been in several musicals and plays including Peter and the Starcatcher (Molly), Hair (Dionne), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy). Becky is also a songwriter, and has released some songs on most music streaming services, with hopes to release more in the future. She hopes to highlight the POC experience through her art, and specifically to create more representation for and honest stories about South Asian Americans. Combining her love for performance with social justice is something so special and important, and Becky is ecstatic to be able to create impactful work with young women who are so dedicated, creative, and talented.
