Thank you for spending the evening with us at our 4th annual Gotta Love Girls Gala. As members of our Girl Be Heard family, we were thrilled to have you with us to celebrate our girls and the Fairy Godmothers who have paved the way for them to be heard.

We hope you enjoyed your evening – especially our special performance, starring our youngest and more seasoned theatre company members. Their art, activism, and leadership remind us that our future is in good hands… but we have to play our part too.

As you know, our free programs are transforming the lives of these girls. Nayelis, Iqra, Jayde, Katie, Allison, Supriya, Christiana, Alyssa, Laura, and Purrsian White are but ten of the hundreds of talented young people we are serving in schools, detention centers and community-based settings on a daily basis.

Here’s how you can continue to make a difference:

If you haven’t yet, we hope you will consider a gift that is meaningful to you to help us better our work. Gifts can be made here online or via check to Girl Be Heard (20 Jay Street, Suite 210b, Brooklyn, NY 11201). No amount is too small. $250 covers the stipend for one of the young women who wrote and performed at this year’s event, and shared her story of resilience and growth.

Our event was booked right up to capacity – and then some! For those who couldn’t join us, and for all of you ready for round two, Girl Be Heard will be hosting an encore performance at The Packer Collegiate Institute on Friday, October 27th. In the spirit of paying it forward, this event will be a fundraiser for relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
