Dear Girl Be Heard Community,
We would like to express our gratitude to all of you who supported us this week for Giving Tuesday Now! Whether you donated directly or spread the word on your social media, you helped amplify our continued work for passionate youth leaders and changemakers.
As part of our ongoing efforts to support New York youth through creative learning and performance opportunities rooted in social justice, we have created the Girl Be Heard Resilience Fund. During this time of uncertainty, we are especially focused on providing extra support for our participants and helping those facing unanticipated economic hardship.
For many, this crisis has exacerbated existing challenges and created new ones, and the need is huge. Despite many challenges, our participants are working hard to advance their studies and stay connected with the Girl Be Heard community. With your contribution, our Resilience Fund can provide participants with tangible support and peace of mind.
Our team and community thank you for your continued solidarity and support for our movement to lift up youth leaders and amplify the voices of young artivists. Together we’re pulling through.

Your generous gift supports our ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts:
$50 will connect a participant to their virtual community by providing one month of internet access
$100 will allow us to pay a participant for a virtual performance
$250 will purchase essential equipment for a participant such as microphones or film hardware for home recording
$500 will enable us to pay a teaching artist to devise and lead a learning workshop for the benefit of our participants
$1000 will provide a participant with ongoing COVID-19 emergency assistance and extended support
