Jamie Lowenstein

Jamie Lowenstein (she/they) is a New York based teaching artist and performer from New Jersey. Jamie specializes in devising practices, gender performance, poetry/heightened text, and solo performance. Her work as both a solo performer & ensemble member has been seen at The Tank, Dixon Place, WOW Café Theatre, The Wild Project, and abroad at the Institue of Arts: Barcelona. They also teach with Queens Theatre, where she devises with seniors! Jamie is committed to decolonizing theatre education and helping students to liberate themselves both within and outside the classroom. BA International Performance Ensemble (Acting), Pace University.
