Nicole Mercedes

Nicole Mercedes is currently a junior double majoring in Drama and Media and Communications at the Tisch School of the Arts and NYU Steinhardt. She’s received most of her acting training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and has well-versed experience in the art of performance through theater, song, as well as spoken word poetry. She aspires to use her creativity in all three forms of these artistic disciplines to be a well-rounded storyteller in entertainment as well as a voice for change. She’s also interested in the business side of film, such as creative marketing and producing. Her passion for social justice runs deep, from POC representation to racial and environmental justice, and she admires how pursuing both media and film/TV nurtures her creativity and impactful relationships with audiences. At Girl Be Heard, she is actively driven by this passion.
